Urban Options Energy Center
405 Grove Street • East Lansing, MI 48823 • (517) 337-0422

Located just two blocks from the Michigan State University campus, the energy center is readily accessible to visitors. By visiting this beautifully renovated 1930s-built Dutch Colonial home, guests can learn how to save money and the environment by improving lighting, applying caulk, composting yard waste and using rain barrel collectors. As one of Michigan's earliest ENERGY STAR® rated buildings, the Urban Options Energy Center demonstrates how recycled and remodeled buildings can benefit the environment and the local economy.

Northern Options Energy Center
205 South Front Street • Marquette, MI 49855 • (906) 226-1136

The Upper Peninsula energy center is located in downtown Marquette’s historic Rosewood Building, which was built in 1882. Once a hub of shops and saloons during the mining era, the building was nearly demolished due to safety concerns. Significant renovations have turned it into the magnificent building it is today. Northern Options serves Upper Michigan from this site on the shores of Lake Superior.

Urban and Northern Options have spent 30 years showing building professionals, homeowners, renters, students, and others easy and affordable ways to save energy and protect natural resources. Our services are based on actual field experience and sound technical science and reach about 60,000 people each year.
